Nischu
Delicate and elegant wine with a rich, dimensional character, revealing the best of the Bandol reds. The initial earthy, savory, and fruity notes are well-balanced, with a soft barnyard funk adding depth. As the wine opens, blackberry, black olive, and leather emerge, followed by floral and black cherry notes. The tannins are pleasantly dusty, and the conclusion is long and satisfying.
Bumjin
The 2008 vintage opens with a smooth, airy quality that benefits from gentle handling. The wine's intense purple tone is well-integrated with the mild oak undertones, creating a full bodied and textured background. The plum and dusty nuances are present, but not overpowering, with a medium tannic structure. The finale is long and satisfying, with a undertone of smoothness from the SMC and JC.
Quimo
Truly remarkable wine with a rich, textured character. Its earthy, herbaceous, and leather whispers evoke the best of Nebbiolo, during dried flowers and intense fruits add dimension and nuance. The tannins are well-balanced, and the liveliness provides a lean finish. A perfect pairing for a variety of dishes, offering roast chicken and asparagus. A truly outstanding wine that is sure to please even the most discerning palates.

Domaine Tempier Bandol Cuvée La Tourtine is praised for its rich, full-bodied character with earthy, fruity, and leathery notes. Tannins are often described as smooth and well-integrated. While some appreciate its complexity and aging potential, others find it falls short of expectations. Common flavors include blackberry, cherry, leather, and spice, with a long, satisfying finish. Overall, it's a well-regarded wine with a robust profile.
