WINE DESCRIPTION
La Varenne de Combre Anjou is crafted by the Famille Vaillant, a family-run estate located in the Loire Valley. The wine comes from the Anjou appellation and is produced using the Chenin Blanc variety, known for its mouthwatering acidity and delicately aromatic profile. The vineyards are planted with old vines, on schistous soils that produce low yields of concentrated grapes. The low-intervention vinification involves a light and gentle pressing, before the resulting juice is transferred to a neutral vessel for the alcoholic fermentation.
