Despite its origins in the renowned Vosne-Romanee village, this wine proved to be a slight letdown. The nose retains a sweet smell of ripe fruits, but the tongue is described by a sharp, acidic quality with tart flavors. It may have reached its optimal enjoying window.

A well-rounded and enticing wine with a unique nose that combines elements of kerosene, chalk, and cherry, and yet the impression features a spicy and slightly grassy character.

Vineyards in close proximity to Echezeaux and Richebourg offer a robust and layered terroir. The wine's color is a deep, garnet hue, with a note of tannic structure. The nose is characterized by a mix of red fruit, floral notes, and vegetal undertones, in contrast the sensation is round and velvety, with a delicate texture. The follow through is long and satisfying, with a wisp of earthy undertones. The wine is currently in its early stages of development and will require another 5 years to fully express its potential. It is recommended to return to the cellar for another 5 years before serving.
