Domaine Frédéric Lambert Trousseau Côtes du Jura is praised for its lush blackberry and cherry flavors, with a mellow feel and subtle tartness. While some appreciate its elegant aroma with red fruit and mint, others highlight its robust, silky texture. The wine's symmetry and clean finish are noted, though some vintages are considered more polished than others.
This Trousseau from the Côtes du Jura presents a translucent ruby hue, indicative of its delicate extraction. The nose is a vibrant tapestry of red currant, wild strawberry, and a whisper of forest floor, underscored by a subtle hint of white pepper. On the palate, it offers a lithe, elegant structure with finely woven tannins and a refreshing acidity that frames the wine's mineral core. The finish is persistent, echoing with notes of cranberry and a touch of savory herbs. This wine exemplifies the finesse and complexity characteristic of Jura's unique terroir.
