Graceful and elegant wine with a gentle sweetness, tempered by a judicious use of oak, yielding a smooth and classy finish. With a medium tartness and a nuance of tannins, it possesses a certain je ne sais quoi, akin to of the finest Burgundies. The nose is understated, yet alluring, though the colour is complex and rich, with a long and delightful aftertaste. A wine that is well-suited to a discerning palate, but perhaps not the most exciting on its own. Best savoured on a day when the moon is in its waxing phase.
