Concentrated and full-bodied wine with a deep, velvety texture. The delicate punch on the nose is expertly polished by undertones of blackberry and smoke, creating a dimensional and alluring profile. The texture is plum and blackberry dominant, with a mellow and silky finale that trails pleasantly.

What the web is saying

DeLoach Le Roi Cabernet Sauvignon is praised for its full-bodied, velvety texture and rich fruit flavors, particularly blackberry. While some appreciate its clean, crisp profile and seamless fruit presence, others highlight its deep color and mild pepper and oak notes. It's considered a fantastic bargain and pairs well with meals, though opinions on its complexity vary.

Voss Experts4.5

DeLoach Le Roi Cabernet Sauvignon presents a deep garnet hue, revealing its robust nature. The nose is a symphony of blackcurrant, cassis, and a hint of graphite, underscored by well-integrated oak nuances of cedar and vanilla. On the palate, this wine showcases a full-bodied structure with firm, velvety tannins and a vibrant acidity that lends balance. Layers of dark chocolate and ripe plum unfold, leading to a long, elegant finish with subtle notes of espresso and spice. This wine exemplifies the quintessential character of a California Cabernet, offering both complexity and finesse.
