De Toren The Black Lion 2018

De Toren The Black Lion is praised for its rich, full-bodied character and complex flavors, including blackcurrant, plum, and pepper. While some find it luxurious and powerful, others feel it doesn't fully justify its price. The wine's high tannins and long finish are noted, with aging potential highlighted. It's recommended for Syrah enthusiasts and pairs well with hearty meals.

This De Toren The Black Lion Reserve is a full-bodied, smooth and rich red wine. On the nose, the wine has intense aromas of blackberry, dark cherry, and subtle notes of forest floor, cedar, and licorice. On the palate, the wine is well-structured and balanced, with soft tannins, a velvety texture, and a long, lingering finish.
