DAOU Reserve Chardonnay greets the eye with a brilliant golden hue, hinting at its opulence. The aromatic profile is enchanting, laden with scents of ripe orchard fruits, hints of toasted oak, and whispers of tropical notes. As one sips, the wine unfolds on the palate with layers of apple, pear, and vanilla, kissed by a touch of buttery richness. The oak influence is well-integrated, providing structure and a creamy texture without overshadowing the fruit purity. Its balanced acidity ensures vibrancy and offers a refreshing counterpoint to its creamy depth. The finish is long, with echoes of citrus zest and minerality. This Chardonnay is a versatile partner to dishes ranging from grilled seafood to roasted poultry, reflecting both the essence of Paso Robles and the mastery of DAOU's winemaking.
