Wine that defies expectations, this vintage is a stark departure from the familiar flavors and aromas that I've come to associate with this particular brand. Its vegetal accents are a jarring departure from the lush, green subtle flavors that I've grown accustomed to. The conclusion is sharp and unyielding, leaving a continuing impact that is both unpleasant and intriguing. I would advise against revisiting this wine unless there is a compelling reason to reconsider, as the label's enduring appeal has led me to overlook its numerous drawbacks.

Bewildering experience, indeed, to encounter a Valdoitain wine that defies description. Like being consumed by a sperm whale, its hints assault the senses with a cacophony of rotten cabbage, seaweed, mussels, and Mediterranean harbor notes. The encounter is as disorienting as a shipwreck, with an unbalanced mix of sweet and sour, fruity and vegetal elements. A truly one-of-a-kind Pinocchio-like adventure.
