Well-rounded and crisp blend of minerals, concentrated butter, and a undertone of wet stone, graceful by a refreshing citrus and apple note. A superb value for the price, making it a solid elite for everyday consumption.

What the web is saying

Daniel-Etienne Defaix Chablis Vieilles Vignes is praised for its rich, layered flavors of citrus, apple, and minerals, with hints of honey, butter, and a smooth finish. While some find it well-balanced and elegant, others note occasional bitterness and lack of depth. Its vibrant acidity and mineral undertones are consistent highlights, making it a versatile choice for various pairings. Overall, it's a well-regarded Chablis with a strong value proposition.

Daniel-Etienne Defaix Chablis Vieilles Vignes is a captivating white wine that showcases the essence of Chablis, France. With a vibrant golden hue, it entices with aromas of green apple, citrus zest, and a hint of flint. On the palate, it offers a crisp acidity and a beautiful minerality, complemented by flavors of ripe pear, lemon, and a subtle touch of salinity. This wine pairs excellently with seafood dishes such as oysters, grilled fish, and creamy shellfish pastas.
