What the web is saying

Cune Crianza is praised for its rich, full-bodied texture and complex flavors, featuring notes of cherry, vanilla, and oak. Many appreciate its smooth finish and affordability, making it a reliable everyday wine. While some find it well-balanced and versatile, others note a lack of depth and complexity. Its fruity profile and subtle spice are often highlighted, though a few reviews mention a slightly dry or tannic finish.

Voss Experts4.0

This Cune (CVNE) Crianza is a complex and well-structured red wine from the Rioja region of Spain. On the nose, it offers aromas of ripe dark berries, sweet forest floor, spice, leather, and a hint of oak. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied with flavors of cherry, baking spices, and a subtle hint of earthy minerality. The tannins are well-integrated and the finish is long and lingering.

We are 50+ wine professionals (sommeliers, buyers, MW candidates) across the US, UK, France, Greece, Italy, and beyond. We review wines via blind tastings with a standardized rubric, using both 100-point and 5-star scales.
