Dry Gamay with a strong tannic presence, but ultimately a pleasant, if unremarkable, savoring experience. as it shows promise, it falls short of the mark, distinctly in terms of lasting impression and overall complexity. The nose is somewhat one-dimensional, with suggestions of dried fruit and forest floor, but lacks the depth and nuance one might expect from a Gamay. As it ages, it may develop a bit more, but for now, it's a solid, if unexciting, option.
