Concentrated and full-bodied wine with a intricate flavor profile that showcases a variety of fruit notes, comprising black cherry, raspberry, strawberry, and violet. The aroma is intense, with a whisper of nuts and a delicate vanilla and oak presence. The tasting is similarly layered, with a caramelized tomato and red berry character that adds richness and complexity. The trail is supple and satisfying, with a mild level of tartness and tannins. Overall, a well-balanced and accessible wine that is right for everyday drinking.

Well-balanced Pinot with a dry finish, providing soft traces of oak and chocolate.

What the web is saying

Chateau Souverain Pinot Noir is appreciated for its complex, full-bodied character with notes of cherry, raspberry, and plum. It offers a well-balanced and velvety texture, with hints of oak, spice, and a touch of sweetness. While some find it a delightful everyday wine, others feel it lacks the classic California Pinot profile. Its value for money is frequently noted, making it a popular choice for casual occasions.
