Château Lafleur Pomerol is celebrated for its complex, full-bodied character with rich fruit flavors and earthy undertones. While some vintages are praised for their elegance and aging potential, others are noted for their subtlety and nuanced finish. Critics highlight its blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc, with common descriptors including black fruit, forest floor, and a smooth finish. Some find it overpriced, but many appreciate its sophistication and depth.
This Château Lafleur Pomerol is a classic Bordeaux blend of Merlot, and Cabernet Franc. It has a deep ruby color, with aromas of ripe black fruit, cigar box, and truffle. On the palate, it is well balanced with soft tannins, good acidity, and a long finish. Notes of dark chocolate, cassis, and cedar linger on the finish. This is a delicious, elegant, and well-structured wine that will pair perfectly with grilled meats and game dishes.
