Château de Rouanne Les Côtes Vinsobres 2020

From the historic Château de Rouanne, acquired and revitalized by the esteemed Louis Barruol of Gigondas's Château de Saint Cosme, this wine is a benchmark for the Vinsobres cru. Located in the Southern Rhône, Vinsobres is prized for its high-altitude vineyards and limestone-rich soils, which impart remarkable freshness and structure. This cuvée, typically a blend of Grenache and Syrah, is farmed organically and made with a focus on expressing its cool-climate terroir. The winemaking is traditional, aiming for elegance and longevity over simple power, resulting in a wine with both aromatic complexity and a serious mineral backbone.
