I thoroughly enjoyed this wine, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. It's a fantastic highlight for anyone looking to try something new and exciting. The 15% ABV is quite impressive, and I'm glad I took the chance to sample it.

Joyful Pinot Noir impression on this Thursday. \nGirls are dancing with enthusiasm, and it's clear they're enjoying the music. When the man says 'get this one', I follow. I'm a young enthusiast learning about Burgundy. I'm currently 9 years old. I've tasted 8 Premier Crus, and I'm excited to try this one. This is Les Vergelesse's Chanson, and it's a 5.4-hectare estate. '12 was a challenging vintage, but I'm eager to see how it turns out. The wine is shaped by dense fruits, inky cherry, and earthy undertones. There's a elegant wisp of menthol, and the tannins have a bit of bite. The tanginess is smooth, and the finale is satisfying. I'm confident that this will be a good day, and I look forward to returning to try more wines.

Promising nose, red fruit with spice and mushroom undertones, was quickly extinguished by a dominant tannic body and a wisp of bitterness. However, the tannins' grip was broken after 90 minutes of decanting, and the wine's potential was rediscovered. The merit for the price is a notable bonus, and the wine's quality is worth the wait. A good option for those willing to hold out, but not necessarily for the masses.

Chanson Pernand-Vergelesses Les Vergelesses 1er Cru is appreciated for its complex nose of red berries, menthol, and licorice, with a smooth, silky texture and firm tannins. While some find it robust and opulent, others note a gentle elegance with floral and fruity notes. The wine's earthy and spicy undertones, along with its aging potential, make it a notable choice for Burgundy enthusiasts.
A luminous garnet hue introduces this exemplary Burgundy, where the nose unfurls with layers of ripe red cherry, wild strawberry, and a whisper of forest floor. The palate is a masterclass in balance, showcasing vibrant acidity and finely grained tannins that frame the fruit with precision. Subtle notes of clove and a hint of minerality add complexity, while the finish is both elegant and persistent. This wine exemplifies the finesse and depth characteristic of Pernand-Vergelesses, offering a quintessential expression of terroir-driven Pinot Noir that will reward both immediate enjoyment and careful cellaring.
