Aromas of ripe blackberry and cassis combine with earthy notes of leather and forest floor on the nose. On the palate, this full-bodied Castello dei Rampolla Sammarco is smooth and concentrated, with a balanced acidity and a long finish. Flavors of black cherry, dark chocolate, and dried herbs linger on the palate for an unforgettable experience.

Timu
Luscious and deep wine with a deep, silky texture. The nose is led by by dark cherry fruit, with elegant touches of tobacco and leather, and yet the tail is long and polished, with tannins that have been expertly polished to a mellow finish. A truly amazing wine, with a prime quality that is sure to please even the most discerning palates.
Myr
Luscious and complex wine with a deep, silky structure that coats the palate, followed by a gentle trace of oak and leather on the nose. The tannins are silky and refined, with suggestions of cherry that unfold on the front, highlighted by the herbaceous tones of rosemary and the light bitterness of tobacco on the finish. A truly amazing wine that pairs beautifully with a hearty, comforting dish like lasagna.
Wiebo Degaugue
Lush and complex wine with a round texture, nostalgic of a luxurious lounge. The smoky background notes evoke the opulence of an Art Deco setting, but gentle subtle flavors of red currant linger on the palate. A enjoyable finish, evocative of a warm summer evening.

Castello dei Rampolla Sammarco is praised for its rich, full-bodied character with notes of dark cherry, forest floor, and leather. Many appreciate its silky texture and long, satisfying finish. While some find it luxurious and well-balanced, others note it may require patience to fully develop. The wine's complexity and depth are consistent highlights, though a few reviews mention it as overpriced.
