Casarena Areyna Torrontes is praised for its floral bouquet, refreshing citrus and stone fruit flavors, and clean, vibrant finish. While some appreciate its bracing acidity and light body, others enjoy its smooth and well-balanced nature. It is often compared to Sauvignon Blanc but noted for its unique profile. Ideal for warm days, it pairs well with light dishes and offers a satisfying sipping experience.
The 2023 Casarena Areyna Torrontes presents a luminous pale straw hue, inviting exploration. On the nose, it unfurls a bouquet of white florals, lychee, and ripe peach, underscored by a whisper of fresh ginger. The palate is vibrant and medium-bodied, showcasing a deft balance of zesty acidity and a silky texture. Flavors of citrus blossom and tropical fruits are interwoven with a subtle minerality, leading to a crisp, lingering finish. This Torrontes exemplifies the varietal's aromatic intensity and finesse, positioning it as a quintessential expression of Argentina's signature white grape.
