Aie
Rich, dense wine with a deep, plush texture. The nose is powered by by notes of rich chocolate, ripe plums, and elegant oak influences. On the palate, it's a full-bodied wine with a generous amount of tannins, but they're well-balanced and not overpowering. The linger is long and satisfying, with subtle flavors of oak and a light whisper of fruitiness. Overall, it's a fantastic pairing for a hearty steak, and I'm excited to see how it stacks up against the Baron de Ley reserve in a blind tasting. The price is a bit steep, but I'm willing to pay a premium for a wine that's this good.
