Carpineto Brunello di Montalcino Riserva offers a powerful yet refined profile, with deep aromas of dark cherry, dried plum, forest floor, and leather, complemented by hints of spice and forest floor. On the palate, it’s full-bodied and structured, with firm tannins and vibrant acidity that carry through a long, complex finish. This is a wine built for hearty fare - perfect alongside aged cheeses, bistecca alla fiorentina, or rich game dishes. While beautifully expressive now with decanting, it has excellent aging potential. Cellar for 10–20 years to allow its tertiary notes and silky texture to evolve further, rewarding patience with depth and elegance.

We are 50+ wine professionals (sommeliers, buyers, MW candidates) across the US, UK, France, Greece, Italy, and beyond. We review wines via blind tastings with a standardized rubric, using both 100-point and 5-star scales.
