Capanna Brunello di Montalcino Riserva 2016

Perfect Friday to kick off the weekend, surrounded by my team in a fun team-building activity. For dinner, I opted for a robust and full-bodied Brunello Riserva, which was paired with a delightful Italian meal. The nose was a masterful blend of cherry, blackberry, and licorice, with a dash of leather. The tongue was a symphony of ripe red fruits, with a silky and velvety texture. The tannins were well-balanced, adding layers to the generally experience. A mind-blowing wine to end a top notch week, and I'm glad I could share it with my team.

Refined selection of old vines, carefully chosen for their maturity and quality. A few impressive bottles stand out, featuring the best of Brunello. The colour has begun to darken, with a note of brick. The nose is a masterclass in complexity, with cherry and resinous layers highlighted by incense and candied fruit. The flavor is full bodied and full, with a velvety start, followed by a delightful zest and a lingering conclusion of spices and chocolate.

Very good reserve that I acquired in Tuscany, which I found enjoyable.
