This Pinot Noir presents a deep garnet hue, revealing a bouquet of ripe black cherry, wild strawberry, and subtle forest floor nuances, underscored by hints of clove and anise. On the palate, it offers a harmonious interplay of vibrant acidity and fine-grained tannins, creating a silky texture that envelops flavors of red currant, pomegranate, and a whisper of earthy minerality. The wine's complexity is further enhanced by a delicate oak influence, contributing to a long, elegant finish. Exemplifying the hallmark characteristics of the Central Coast, this Pinot Noir is a testament to its terroir-driven elegance and finesse.

Calera Clone Estate Selection Pinot Noir is crafted from the unique Calera clone, renowned for its distinct expression of the Pinot Noir grape. The vineyard benefits from a cool, coastal climate, allowing for a slow ripening process that enhances the wine's complexity. The grapes are hand-harvested and undergo fermentation in open-top fermenters, followed by aging in French oak barrels, a portion of which are new, to impart subtle oak influence. This Pinot Noir offers a balanced profile with bright acidity and nuanced fruit flavors, making it an ideal choice for those who appreciate a refined and elegant style.
