Ellona Bongardt
Graceful blend of barbera and uve rare, it surprisingly meets my expectations for a straightforward wine. smooth and well-balanced, it has a long shelf life on the palate. However, the conclusion is somewhat lacking, leaving a slightly astringent note behind. I would recommend it for those seeking a reliable, everyday wine.
Danutz
Well-balanced red wine with a harmonious blend of sweet and sour notes, accompanied by a zesty finish.
Uihyung
The wine has largely recovered from its peak, but retains a wisp of inky fruit notes, a gentle Barbera influence.

The Ca'Montebello Custiò Rosso is appreciated for its well-balanced structure and smooth texture, offering flavors of ripe cherry, vanilla, and forest floor with a full-bodied profile. While some praise its harmonious blend and zesty finish, others note a slightly astringent aftertaste. It pairs well with hearty meats, making it a versatile choice for everyday enjoyment despite some inconsistencies in the finish.
This wine presents a deep garnet hue, indicative of its robust character. The bouquet unfolds with layers of ripe black cherry, cassis, and a hint of dried herbs, underscored by subtle oak nuances. On the palate, it reveals a full-bodied structure, with velvety tannins and a vibrant acidity that provides balance and lift. The mid-palate is rich with dark fruit compote, while a mineral streak adds complexity, leading to a long, elegant finish with whispers of dark chocolate and spice. This Rosso exemplifies the finesse and depth characteristic of its regional heritage, promising both immediate enjoyment and potential for further aging.
