A rich and deep Barolo with a concentrated and comforting finish, its intense suggestions of cherry, strawberry, raspberry, and plum are expertly graceful by light undertones of oak, tar, leather, and smoke.

Full bodied and deep Barolo, with a deep, decadent colour and a well-rounded aroma that includes suggestions of wood, smoke, and whispers of cheese and spice. The tannins are prominent, and the crispness is high, making this a truly elite wine.

What the web is saying

Brovia Rocche di Castiglione Barolo is praised for its rich, full-bodied profile with flavors of cherry, leather, and oak. While some find it elegant and balanced, others note a strong tannic presence. The wine's complexity is enhanced by earthy and flinty undertones, making it a sophisticated choice for aging. However, occasional issues with cork and provenance may affect quality.

Voss Experts4.3

This Barolo from Brovia Rocche di Castiglione is an intense, dark garnet color in the glass. On the nose, aromas of dark cherries, ripe plums, and dried herbs are complemented by notes of licorice and a hint of forest floor. The palate is balanced and complex, with firm tannins, ample acidity, and a long finish. Flavors of dark fruits, spices, and a hint of oak linger on the palate. An impressive Barolo from a top producer, this wine is sure to delight and impress.
