Rich, velvety wine with a deep, warm color and a subtle sheen. Its aroma is driven by by the sweet, fruity scent of raisins, with touches of spicy ginger and apple, and a delicate hint of caramel. On the palate, the wine is marked by a smooth, medium sweetness and a clean acidity, with hints that evoke the warmth of a crackling fire and the sweetness of a ripe apple. The finale is long and satisfying, with a elegant woodiness that remains on the palate. Overall, a solid dessert sipper that is sure to please.
