Masterpiece of Calabria, with accents of forest & moss, afterthoughts of thyme & berries, a true gem.

Voss Experts4.5

Exhibiting a deep garnet hue, this Cirò Rosso Classico Superiore reveals a bouquet of ripe black cherry, dried herbs, and a whisper of forest floor, underscored by a mineral edge that speaks to its Calabrian terroir. On the palate, the wine is robust yet elegantly structured, with firm tannins and a vibrant acidity that frames flavors of red currant, anise, and a hint of leather. The finish is long and savory, marked by a subtle earthiness and a touch of spice. This wine exemplifies the potential of Gaglioppo, offering both complexity and a sense of place.
