The label's description of this wine as characteristic of Syrah is somewhat misleading. during it does exhibit some of the expected characteristics of the varietal, it also has a distinctly different profile. The wine's robust, savory flavor profile is notable, with a savory nuance that may be difficult to put into words. Pairing it with a high-quality cut of meat, such as a grilled steak, is an excellent way to showcase its full potential.

Bodegas Mano a Mano Venta La Ossa Syrah is praised for its rich, full-bodied profile with ripe black fruit, spices, and earthy undertones. While some find its peppery and flinty notes appealing, others note a lack of typical Syrah pepperiness. The wine's smooth tannins and complex aromas of vanilla, oak, and chocolate are consistently highlighted, making it a versatile choice for pairing with meats.
This Syrah from La Mancha presents a deep garnet hue, revealing an aromatic bouquet of blackcurrant, ripe plum, and subtle hints of cracked black pepper and violets. On the palate, it is full-bodied and robust, with a velvety texture that carries flavors of dark chocolate, black cherry, and a whisper of licorice. The wine's firm tannins and balanced acidity provide a solid structure, leading to a long, mineral-tinged finish. This Syrah exemplifies the potential of Spanish terroir, offering a compelling alternative to its Rhône counterparts with its distinctive elegance and depth.
