This Merlot by Blackstone Winemakers Select is a rich, robust, and full-bodied red wine with a complex bouquet of wild berries, dark chocolate, and subtle notes of spice. On the palate, it has a smooth tannic structure with a long and lingering finish. The flavors of ripe dark fruit, toasted oak, and hints of herbs and flint create a balanced and harmonious finish. Faver
Subtle Merlot with mild accents of fruit, barbecue, and a trace of earthiness on the nose. The taste is controlled by by sweet and dark fruit, with a touch of bitterness and a suggestion of vanilla. The lasting impression is short, but the wine's smooth, silky consistency and subtle oak undertones make it a pleasant, if unremarkable, experience.

Blackstone Winemaker's Select Merlot is appreciated for its smooth texture, fruity profile, and affordability. Many enjoy its blackberry, plum, and vanilla notes, while some find it straightforward and lacking complexity. It's often described as a reliable, easy-drinking wine suitable for casual occasions, though a few reviews mention a lack of depth. Overall, it offers good value for its price.
