Bessa Valley is a renowned estate in the foothills of the Rhodope Mountains in Bulgaria's Thracian Lowlands, founded by Comtes Stephan von Neipperg. The estate is also known for its Bordeaux-style blends, with a focus on producing high-quality wines. The 2018 Enira is one of their largest production wines, featuring a blend of merlot, syrah, and petit verdot. The wine is described by a dense, inky color with a rich, fruity profile, including espresso-infused concentrated fruit, blackcurrant, blackberry, and plum. The flavor profile is marked by a touch of rustic and bitter notes, high tannins, and a range of sweet and savory flavors, featuring liquorice, milk chocolate, and clove. The wine is full-bodied and has a high ABV of 14.5%.
