Richly layered nose of Asian pear, yellow apple, orange zest, and pastry accents sets the tone for this entry-level Chardonnay. The mouthfeel is clean and lively, with a consistent acidity. A solid bet for those aiming for a leaner, oaked Chardonnay.

Bergström Old Stones Chardonnay is praised for its elegant balance of fruit and oak, with flavors of apple, pear, and citrus. While some appreciate its buttery and creamy texture, others note a refreshing acidity. The wine's minerality and floral notes add complexity, making it a well-rounded choice. Opinions vary on its oak influence, with some finding it subtle and others more pronounced.
This Bergström Old Stones Chardonnay is an outstanding example of Oregon Chardonnay. On the nose, it has aromas of ripe, stonefruits, and citrus, while on the palate it is full-bodied with a seductive creamy texture and complex notes of dairy and vanilla. Its round texture is balanced by a bright acidity that makes it an excellent food wine. Enjoy it with creamy seafood dishes, and truffled roast chicken. Enjoy now or over the next 10 years.
