This Banfi Belnero (Proprietor's Reserve) is a classic Italian Super Tuscan blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Sangiovese. Aromas of ripe blackberry, plum, and sweet forest floor mingle with subtle notes of fresh herbs, cedar and earth. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and opulent, with a lush texture and flavors of dark cherry, blackberry, and toasty oak. The tannins are well-integrated and the finish is long and persistent. Enjoy this wine with grilled meats and game.

The wine's nose is centered around by ripe red cherries, with a fruity sweetness that fades slowly on the palate. The bracing quality provides a refreshing contrast, rounding out the accents and leaving a clean finish.

2015 vintage was a delightful experience. The cedar undertones were present, but not overwhelming. The wine was dry, which suited my taste. I thoroughly enjoyed this wine.
Vimal
The wine opens with a rich, earthy aroma that unfolds with accents of cedar, green pepper, and cherry. The taste is driven by by blackberry and leather, with a understated licorice character in the mid-palate. The structure is well-balanced, and the wine holds its liveliness well. It's a complex, full-bodied wine that will appeal to wine enthusiasts.

Banfi Belnero is praised for its rich, full-bodied character, with consistent notes of cherry, blackberry, and oak. While some appreciate its smooth tannins and elegant finish, others note a dryness that may not suit all palates. The wine's complex aromas of cedar, forest floor, and vanilla are frequently highlighted, making it a sophisticated choice for wine enthusiasts.
