Robust and full-bodied wine with a deep, smooth consistency and a round finish. It's a stonking affordability for its price, delivering a lot of substance and depth without being overly rich or expensive.

What the web is saying

Arnaldo-Caprai Montefalco Rosso is praised for its rich, full-bodied profile, with flavors of cherry, plum, and vanilla. It offers a smooth, balanced experience with firm tannins and a harmonious blend of Sangiovese, Sagrantino, and Merlot. While some appreciate its complexity and depth, others find it slightly tight or lacking in finesse. Overall, it's a versatile wine that pairs well with hearty dishes.

Voss Experts4.0

This wine from Arnaldo-Caprai offers a distinct bouquet of ripe cherry, plum and spice, enhanced by a hint of leather and a firm structure of tannins. On the palate, this Montefalco Rosso is full-bodied and complex with flavors of blackberry, raspberry, anise and hints of forest floor. The finish is long and balanced, with just a touch of dried herb to round out the flavors. An excellent choice for food pairings, this is a wine that will satisfy many palates.
