This Italian classic from Argiolas is a superbly complex red that showcases the best of the Isola dei Nuraghi terroir. The nose is filled with aromas of dark fruits, leather, herbs, and spice. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and powerful, with flavors of black cherry, plum, and licorice. Tannins are firm but approachable, and the finish is long and savory. It's an impressive effort that will reward careful cellaring.
