Oleksii
Elegant union of Bovale Sardo, Cannonau & Carignano, with a intricate and alluring nose that highlights a decadent medley of dried fruit, blackberry, plum, and earthy, umami flavors, augmented by peppery and sweet spices, chocolate, and a wisp of smoke, tempered by a refreshing liveliness and a smooth, velvety texture, with a fulfilling dryness and a crisp finish, accompanied by a gentle nuance of menthol freshness, a perfect cohesion of layers and a delightful finish.
Nolberto
Sardinia's unique blend of Carignano, Cannonau, and Bovale creates a evolved and exciting profile. The wine's smoky red and black fruit accents are refined by mineral liveliness and supple tannins, whereas a whisper of licorice and leather adds depth. A promising debut from Bovale, with a ending that's somewhat lacking. Nonetheless, this wine is a fascinating discovery, and its Italian heritage is a welcome addition to the region's treasure trove of grape varieties.
Vally Mcswain
Truly outstanding wine, expressing the best qualities of the Bovale grape.
