Ampeleia Rosato di Ampeleia is praised for its cranberry, raspberry, and strawberry flavors, with hints of balsamic and citrus. While some find it elegant and zesty, others describe it as rich and full-bodied. The wine is noted for its refreshing and easy-drinking nature, with a mild acidity and a hint of sweetness. Opinions vary on its complexity, with some finding it straightforward.
This Tuscan rosato presents a delicate ballet of pale coral hues, inviting exploration. On the nose, it reveals a bouquet of wild strawberries and rose petals, underscored by a whisper of Mediterranean herbs. The palate is a harmonious interplay of vibrant acidity and a subtle minerality, reminiscent of wet stones, which provides a refreshing backbone. A whisper of red currant and blood orange zest adds complexity, while the finish is clean and persistent, echoing a saline touch. This rosato is a quintessential expression of its coastal terroir, offering a refined, yet approachable experience.
