Bold and intense perfume of dark fruit and smoky background notes sets the stage for a deep and engaging wine experience. The sensation is centered around by plum, with a mild mineral background flavor that adds complexity and nuance. A smoky edge provides a welcome contrast, elevating the wine's in summary character. whereas I appreciate the wine's value, I believe it falls short of its full potential. I've seen similar wines for $15, and I wouldn't recommend paying that much for this one. If you're willing to invest, I'd suggest waiting for a better deal.

The nose is powered by by a rich, fruity smell of black cherry, blueberry, and dried herbs, with mild floral notes. The vibrancy is further enhanced by plum and prune, even as the finale features a nuanced array of cedar, graphite, granite, and leather notes.

Agreeable Mencia, a favorite of mine. This particular vintage is well-balanced and full-bodied. Not a fan of oak, but this one meets my expectations. Overall, a decent wine.
