Antinori Pian delle Vigne Brunello di Montalcino is praised for its rich, full-bodied character, featuring notes of cherry, plum, forest floor, and chocolate. While some find it smooth and well-balanced, others note occasional inconsistencies in quality. The wine's earthy undertones and firm tannins are appreciated, though a few reviews mention a lack of freshness. Overall, it's a sophisticated wine with aging potential, ideal for pairing with hearty dishes.
This elegant and complex Brunello di Montalcino from Antinori Pian delle Vigne exudes aromas of black cherry and sweet forest floor on the nose. The palate is filled with ripe red and black fruit, followed by notes of cedar, clove, and dried herbs. It is well balanced, with ripe tannins and a lingering finish. Enjoy with a savory dish such as a wild mushroom risotto.
