Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) Altan d’Aussières Corbières

Altan d’Aussières Corbières is crafted from vineyards nestled in the heart of the Languedoc region in southern France, benefiting from the Mediterranean climate that ensures ripe fruit expression. The blend typically includes Carignan, Syrah, Grenache, and Mourvèdre, harvested at optimal ripeness to balance fruit intensity with freshness. The wine undergoes fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve its vibrant fruit character. Partial aging in oak barrels adds subtle complexity without overpowering the wine's natural flavors. This results in a medium-bodied red with a harmonious structure, suitable for immediate enjoyment or short-term cellaring.
