We've developed a taste for Christmann's wines, and we were pleased to discover the 2017 vintage of Paratiesgarten. while it's a good effort, it falls short of our expectations. The nose is ripe and inviting, with undertones of orange, apricot, and honey. However, the taste is less compelling, with a lack of minerality and a focus on sweetness. The tail is pleasant, but the all around effect is one of symmetry rather than complexity. A solid wine, but not one that stands out as exceptional. It's a good wine, but it's not the most impressive vintage. Rating: 3.8-4.0/5 stars. 😎
