Willful’s owner and winemaker Pam Walden was born in the UK and worked as a producer in television production and advertising. Her winemaking in Oregon started with the creation of Daedalus Cellars with her then partner Aron Hess in 2000. Willful Wines was created in 2011 with an initial harvest of 341 cases.

Production is around 7000 cases annually at the winery in NE Portland. Its wines include Pinot Noir from the north Willamette Valley, Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay from the Willamette Valley, Tempranillo from the Umpqua Valley, and Cabernet Sauvignon and red blends from Walla Walla.
