Terminim

Terminim is a collaboration between Donald Patz and François Villard that began with their early August 2017 visit to Alder Springs Vineyard in Northern Mendocino County. There, they met with vineyard owner Stu Bewley to work out the beginnings of the wine project.

Alder Springs supplies Terminim’s grapes and has many grape varieties planted between 2,000 and 3,000 feet above sea level. The collaborators agreed to start small with Marsanne, Roussanne and Syrah. The Marsanne came from Spirit Rock, the Roussanne from Clay Field, and the Syrah from the Cahto Ridge and Spirit Rock blocks. The grapes are tended by Stuart’s vineyard crew and hand harvested at night to preserve their integrity.
