Tenuta Santa Maria di Gaetano Bertani is a Bertani family wine estate in Arbizzano di Negrar, Valpolicella Classica: family records in Valpolicella date to 1567, and the estate took shape in 1735. The earliest maps show its 22-hectare brolo enclosed by a wall. Giovanni and Guglielmo Bertani carry this heritage forward, preserving Valpolicella’s oldest grape varieties and giving wines time in cask.

At Tenuta Santa Maria alla Pieve in Colognola ai Colli, Val d’Illasi, the grapes include Garganega, Merlot and Chardonnay. Vineyard care follows certified sustainable practices focused on low yields, grape maturity and soil vitality, while natural appassimento is used for Amarone Riserva. Its wines include Lepiga Soave, Torre Pieve Chardonnay, Valpolicella Classico Superiore, Valpolicella Ripasso Classico, Amarone Classico Riserva and Decima Aurea Merlot.
