Railsback Frères Winery began as a rosé project in Santa Ynez in 2014, founded by brothers Lyle and Eric Railsback. Two years after producing their first rosé, the brothers partnered with Presqu’ile Winery in Santa Maria.

Eric found access to Mourvèdre, Carignan and Cinsault in Santa Ynez. The brothers’ first rosé was direct-to-press, vinified and aged in old wood, with malolactic fermentation completed; at Presqu’ile, they make their wines using only wild, native yeast fermentation. Its wines include the dry rosé Les Rascasses, French for “scorpion fish” and named in homage to Lulu Peyraud, alongside small lots of Vermentino and carbonic Carignan. The winery also makes Syrah from Bien Nacido entirely without SO2.
On VinoVoss, Railsback Frères Winery has 1 wine in stock: 1 red. Their average rating is 4.0 out of 5 from 4 ratings.
