Primus is a wine range of Neyen de Apalta in the Apalta Valley. In its early years, Primus blended different grape varieties in the Casablanca and Maipo Valleys.

Grapes for the range come from the property's slopes and a Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard more than 80 years old, grown on overhead trellises called a parronal. This Cabernet Sauvignon forms the backbone of Primus The Blend. Winemaking for the range follows the principles of regenerative organic and biodynamic agriculture. The grapes are harvested by hand and fermented exclusively in open-topped tanks with native yeasts. The wine is then aged in a mixture of 500-litre foudres and French oak barrels. Its wines include Primus The Blend and Primus Carménère.
On VinoVoss, Primus has 2 wines in stock: 2 red. Their average rating is 3.8 out of 5 from 325 ratings.
