Pedroncelli Winery makes wine in Sonoma County’s Dry Creek Valley, and Giovanni and Julia Pedroncelli purchased its hillside property west of Geyserville in 1927. John Pedroncelli, Jr. became winemaker in 1948, followed by his brother Jim as sales director in 1955. The brothers purchased the winery from their father in 1963. The company is 70% woman-owned, with Montse Reece as winemaker.

On Dry Creek Valley’s eastern bench, the 14-acre Bushnell Vineyard is closely associated with the Pedroncellis. The winery’s vineyards are certified sustainable, with efforts to reduce water use and improve soil health. On its Home Ranch vineyards, synthetic pesticides are not used; instead, cover crops attract beneficial insects that prey on pests. Pruning, thinning and harvesting are done by hand, while compost replenishes vineyard soil.
On VinoVoss, Pedroncelli has 8 wines in stock: 5 red, 1 white, 1 rosé, 1 fortified. Their average rating is 3.9 out of 5 from 222 ratings.
