The Oak Farm property was originally acquired in 1860 by William DeVries, who farmed wheat, raised cattle, and became Justice of the Peace. DeVries and his wife Cornelia Crowe resided on the site, where DeVries built a colonial-style home in 1876. The Panella family arrived in the region in 1936 and purchased Oak Farm in 2004. Dan Panella and Heather Panella are co-owners, with Heather Panella serving as General Manager. The winemaking staff includes Director of Winemaking Dan Panella, Consulting Winemaker Chad Joseph, and Winemaker Marilia Nimis.

Oak Farm is an estate winery located in Lodi, California. The property features 70 acres of vines and oaks. In 2012, Dan Panella replanted the property's 60 acres of vineyards.
