Morlet Family Vineyards’ founders, Luc and Jodie Morlet, purchased a property in Knights Valley in 2005. In 2010, they purchased an 1880 pre-Prohibition winery. Following a year-and-a-half remodeling, the winery opened in 2012.

The estate operates three vineyards: Mon Chevalier in Knights Valley, Cœur de Vallée in Oakville, and Morlet Estate. These three estate vineyards grow Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc and are organically farmed. The vineyards feature high-density planting of 2,200 vines per acre, and canes are pruned using a Double-Guyot pruning system. In winemaking, fruit is picked by hand at night and transported in refrigerated trucks.
