Moorilla is a winery in Berriedale with origins in Italian émigré Claudio Alcorso’s first vine plantings in 1958. After its first foot-stomped vintage in 1962, the winery evolved alongside Tasmania’s emerging wine industry. David Walsh purchased the estate in 1995 and appointed Conor van der Reest as winemaker in 2007; together they created a new winery on the Moorilla peninsula.

The peninsula also became home to the Museum of Old and New Art (Mona). Vines are hand-plucked, hand-tied and hand-picked during the cool days of autumn. The winery uses gravity assistance, while wines are pressed down by hand and barrels are racked by hand through the year. Its wines include those from the Praxis, Muse and Cloth Label series.
On VinoVoss, Moorilla has 2 wines in stock: 2 sparkling. Their average rating is 3.5 out of 5 from 10 ratings.
