Mischa is a family-owned wine company. The Mischa Estate farm was bought in 1947 following World War II, and Yvonne Barns named the farm after her ballet dance partner Mikael (Mischa) and Michael, a family friend and pilot lost in the war. The winery was founded in 1999 by Andrew Barns, the great-grandson of the initial proprietor, who owns and runs the estate.

The estate is located in the Groenberg appellation near Wellington in the Western Cape, where soil types include Tukulu, Westleigh, Oakleaf, Longlands, Klapmuts, and Vilafontes. The estate uses Nutrition Farming Methods, natural cover crops, and environmentally friendly weed control, and partnered with The Old Vine Project. Andrew Barns hand-crafts all wines, and its wines include Cerno.
On VinoVoss, Mischa has 1 wine in stock: 1 red. Their average rating is 4.0 out of 5 from 1 rating.
