Martin Ray is a Russian River Valley winery with roots in Martin Ray’s single-varietal, region-specific winemaking in Saratoga from 1943 to 1972. Courtney purchased the brand and has been committed to its wine production since 1990; the winery moved to the Russian River Valley in 2003. Its winemaking team includes Director of Winemaking Leslie Renaud, Winemaker Raemy Paterson and Consulting Winemaker Keith Emerson.

The 12-acre estate overlooks the Laguna de Santa Rosa from Laguna Ridge. Planted in 2011 on Goldridge soil, its Pinot Noir vineyard is farmed by Jim Pratt. Beyond the estate, its wines include Chardonnay from dry-farmed old vines in Green Valley and Cabernet Sauvignon from Diamond Mountain in Napa Valley. The Chardonnay undergoes full primary and malolactic fermentation and ages sur lie for 12 months in up to 30% new French oak.
On VinoVoss, Martin Ray has 2 wines in stock: 2 red. Their average rating is 4.4 out of 5 from 27 ratings.
